Pastor Toby Castleberry
Bro. Toby became the pastor of CBC in April 2010. He previously served for three years as the pastor of Rock Crossing Baptist Church. Toby's passion is to pray, to study, and then to preach God's truth-understanding the urgency of our day. His goal is to lead God's people in a discipleship-driven, evangelistic fervor that changes our world.
Bro. Toby attended Texas Tech University earning a B.S. in Ag. Economics in 1995. He completed 21 graduate hours at Logsdon Seminary at Hardin Simmons University, and has completed the Masters of Christian Ministry degree at Wayland Baptist University. Bro. Toby enjoys spending time with his family, working outdoors, running track, and reading. Toby and his wife, Carrie, have three children: Sarah (14), Kell (11), and Will (8)
Marco Palomo- Youth Pastor
Marco became Youth Pastor of Calvary in September of 2014 after serving as Youth Interim for 7 months. Marco served as the Youth Intern for Calvary in 2010 before leaving for college. He attended Wayland Baptist University and is finishing up his degree in Church Music and Religion. He is excited to be serving here at Calvary and leading the youth.
Marco is married to Danielle, who is an active participant in our Ecuador mission effort. Marco loves music and enjoys playing the guitar and the trumpet. He also enjoys spending time with his youth kids and his three-year old nephew Anthony.
Brenna McLennan- Children's Minister
Brenna has been the Children's Coordinator at Calvary since July of 2010. She is excited to see what God is doing in the Children's department and feels blessed to be on staff with people who love the Lord. Brenna and her husband, Tanner, both grew up at CBC, and they are thrilled to now be raising their family in the same church. They have been married since August of 2004 and have four daughters: Maddie (8), Amy (7), Maebree (5), and Adalyn (2). Tanner attended the University of Texas at Austin and is a farmer in Hardeman County. Brenna attended Texas State University at San Marcos and Midwestern State University. She taught 2nd grade at Central Elementary in Vernon before getting the opportunity to stay home with her children. Brenna enjoys spending time with her family and friends and reading.
